Services

Pregnancy and birth are powerful rites of passage that transform birthing people inside and out.

While the experience can be incredibly joyful, many people are shocked by the intensity of birth and the early days with their new baby. It takes time for the body to heal from birth and pregnancy.

The postpartum period can be a mix of raw emotions ranging from elation to despair and overwhelm, as well as myriad physical sensations and experiences that need attention and care.

I’m here to support you.

Sessions available virtually and in-person in Boulder, CO.

Welcome — I’m Jill Cohen!

I’m a clinical herbalist focused on nourishing birthing and postpartum people during this sacred time. Also trained as a doula and meditation teacher, I’m here to hold space for you as you move through the process of pregnancy, birth, and becoming a parent. I use herbs, nutrition, meditation, and earth-based practices to help you feel healthy and vibrant so that you can show up fully for your baby, your family, and your life.

You were not meant to do this alone, and you deserve to be supported.

Here are some ways we can work together…

CURRENTLY PREGNANT?

If you’re pregnant and want to optimize your health for your upcoming birth, an herbal consult is a great way to care for yourself and your baby. We can work together to determine your health and lifestyle goals, and create a customized plan to support you and your baby as you move through pregnancy, birth, and into the postpartum time.

NEWLY POSTPARTUM?

You’ve recently had a baby and you’re struggling with fatigue and overwhelm, or you’ve been cleared by your doctor or midwife, but you’re still healing from the birth and needing more support. Or maybe you’d like to increase your milk supply and are looking for guidance. We can work together to address these and many more common issues that postpartum folks encounter.

BEYOND POSTPARTUM

You’re technically out of the postpartum time but you’re still feeling exhausted and depleted and like you’ve never fully recovered from birth. You’re looking for guidance on how to feel better. We can work together to address your concerns and determine the root causes for why you might be feeling this way and create a plan to help you feel better.

How to get started…

— 1 —

Book your time & pay to reserve time on my calendar.

— 2 —

Receive & fill out your intake form. Please return this 2-3 days before our appointment. I use this form to begin to assess what is happening for you and to get a sense of your goals, challenges, and priorities.

— 3 —

Our initial appointment (by phone, online/video chat, or in-person in Boulder, Colorado). We will go over your health history, any health concerns or challenges you may be experiencing, and discuss your lifestyle and diet. We’ll work collaboratively to uncover the current patterns in your body and determine the root causes of what is happening for you.

— 4 —

You will receive a customized protocol 24-48 hours later that will include herbal formulations, dietary suggestions, and other health recommendations based on your unique constitution, energetics, and health goals.

— 5 —

Your first 30-minute follow-up appointment is free. I recommend follow-up visits 2-4 weeks after the initial consultation, and then 4-6 weeks after that for any subsequent visits. This is a chance for us to check in on how you’re doing, make any changes or tweaks to your protocol, and adjust as needed. We’ll also work together to track how you’re doing so you can see where things are going well and where you may still need support.
